Mission
Our mission is to improve the quality of long-term care for those who depend on it and those who provide it.
Long-range Goals
We are working to build a stable, committed, rewarded and well-trained workforce to meet the growing need for direct caregivers in residential and community settings. Success will be marked as older Minnesotans have improved access to the quality long-term care services they need, and workers can count on care-giving careers to support their families.
2009 Action
We are advocating for public policies that improve the recruitment, education, retention, recognition and support of direct care workers.
